Cabify, an international multi-mobility platform invests $20M in its new business Cabify Logistics

With the introduction of the new Cabify Logistics brand, Madrid-based Cabify, an international multi-mobility platform, begins a new chapter in its diversification of mobility solutions intended for storing and transferring things. The company plans to close 2022 increasing five times more than last year and anticipates investing more than $20 million to establish this new business line.

The new business branch known as Cabify Logistics was established to address the logistical issues faced by organizations. It makes use of the possibilities of technology and provides a service that is safe, effective, and sustainable. It offers a B2B2C service by storing packages and then delivering them to receivers who have purchased the goods.

To maintain its position as a pioneer in routing, real-time tracking, and warehouse management, Cabify Logistics will keep enhancing the technology that underpins the business. The customization of Cabify Logistics’ service is built on providing a user-friendly interface, continual technical development, and adaptability to meet the needs of its clients. To give consumers who want to use the service a more agile approach, the company is trying to establish new connectors with e-commerce logistics platforms.

“Being a service offered by Cabify has allowed us to win the trust of thousands of firms that already know us for our ride-hailing service, which has been a significant trigger for our growth,” said Vicente Pascual, VP of Cabify Logistics.

Vicente continued, “With more than ten years of existence in Europe and Latin America, Cabify is a well-established brand in the multi-mobility sector. Due to our strength, we were able to reach 500,000 deliveries within eight months after the service’s introduction in 2020, which is five times quicker than the time it took us to complete the first 500,000 trips.

In Spain, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, and Chile, Cabify Logistics will continue to concentrate primarily on providing urban last-mile logistic services to businesses engaged in e-commerce, retail, and pharmaceutical industries, to name a few.

The plan will concentrate on providing immediate deliveries to supermarkets and businesses in Latin America. For restaurants that already have a delivery order channel or use online ordering platforms like Chile’s Mercat, the company has begun to provide last-mile logistical services there.

The business intends to keep improving the cross-dock service at its facilities in the Spanish market. This service entails receiving a large number of parcels from one or more customers and sorting them by delivery city and route in the central warehouse.

Additionally, Cabify Logistics will keep making strides in the parcel service with solutions built around its warehouses and important contracts that enable enhancements in the capillarity of the service across the region.

In Latin America, where it currently has the top position in terms of fleet, the company will continue to provide services for cars and motorcycles. It intends to launch one or more tonnes of freight vehicles soon as a novelty and to keep expanding its electric and zero-emission fleet by adding bicycles and electric scooters. In the case of Spain, all of Cabify Logistics’ fleet consists of electric vans used just for delivery services.
