Codify Lab, secures $400K at a valuation of $5 million!

Codify Lab successfully secures $400,000 at a $5 million valuation from Accelerate Prosperity for organizational growth and development of a new product!

Codify Lab, which is part of the Codify network of organizations, is trying to strengthen the IT sector in Central Asia through education, training, and cutting-edge software development. Dinara Ruslan created it in 2019 as an IT professional academy, with its initial course on project management offered on Facebook. Currently, the company is a trusted technical B2B partner for clients in Singapore, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Pakistan, developing new IT products in EdTech, HealthTech, and E-Commerce.

Codify also runs landmark events in IT education such as “Experience IT” in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, where it teaches adults and children a variety of IT courses such as Development, IT Project Management, and QA & Testing, Design, and so on. Accelerate Prosperity (AP) is a new Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) global program in Central and South Asia that provides end-to-end support to rising entrepreneurs with limited economic possibilities.

The mission of AP is to promote inclusive economic growth and empowerment, particularly for youth and women, through sustainable SGBs and creative businesses. Over the last five years, AP has provided training and advising services to over 2400 enterprises, as well as $4.4 million in creative funding to entrepreneurs across the region.

Codify Lab and Accelerate Prosperity are also working together to create Virtual Accelerate Prosperity (VAP), a digital portal for accelerators, incubators, and investment funds in Central and South Asia to manage pipelines, streamline decision-making, and give quality material to its users.

From outreach and lead generation to investment tracking and data visualization, the platform will provide an end-to-end solution. VAP would also include high-quality blended learning content and resources to help to aspire and established entrepreneurs with training and self-paced learning opportunities.

The journey started with AP supporting Codify LMS, also part of Codify group of companies, in their ICT-specific acceleration program in Kyrgyzstan in 2020 where they also received USD 40,000 in investment. AP is all set to support Codify Lab in the same way, especially for innovative, agile, and women-focused growth across the region. In line with the fast-growing ecosystem, AP plans to expand its portfolio even further, especially in the ICT and green economy sectors by adopting efficiencies and integrating platforms like VAP.
