Copenhagen-based Dreamdata, a B2B Revenue Attribution Platform has raised €7M in a Series A round led by Amsterdam’s Venture Capital firm Curiosity.
Curiosity and other current investors including InReach Ventures, Crowberry, and Seedcamp participated in the round. Futuristic.vc, Preseed Ventures, and Signals VC also participated in the round. With these funds, Dreamdata’s financing round has been increased to a total of €7M.
Curiosity is a venture capital fund based in Amsterdam. It focuses on early-stage investments in software firms from Benelux, Nordic, and Baltic regions. Moreover, these firms are creating the next generation of AI apps.
Curiosity’s founders are Herman Kienhuis and Maurice Beckand Verwee, two operator-investors with extensive experience.
The founders of the portfolio companies and a network of seasoned advisers who support the Dutch VC also become co-owners of the fund.
Herman Kienhuis, Curiosity’s managing partner said:
“We observed a trend in the B2B industry where more companies are adopting digital, data-driven marketing and sales strategies. In response to this trend, Dreamdata has developed a distinctive account-based analytics option that customers adore. As a result, Curiosity is excited to support Dreamdata’s vision of becoming the leading worldwide provider of B2B marketing and sales analytics.”
Dreamdata is a B2B revenue attribution tool that was established in 2018 by Steffen Hedebrandt, Ole Dallerup, and Lars Gronnegaard.
It gives companies the equipment they need to determine how their sales and marketing efforts affect income.
Customers can track the complete marketing funnel on the platform. Additionally, it also offers useful insights into which marketing channels bring in the most lucrative clients.
The Danish business currently has clients who are utilizing Dreamdata’s services, and these clients have reported significant improvements in their B2B marketing spend efficiency. Some clients have reported up to a 70% increase in efficiency. This results in lower customer acquisition costs and higher revenue.
Along with the revenue attribution tool, Dreamdata debuted Digital Analytics this year, a B2B-focused Google Analytics substitute compliant with EU data privacy laws.
The tool connects data from all of the main ad networks, including LinkedIn, and monitors and evaluates website engagement at the account level.
