Eero Outdoor 7: With Wireless Mainly in and Around the House

Eero Outdoor 7 Wi-Fi Access Point takes your home internet outdoors; it has all the necessary features for weather resistance and flexibility at speeds of up to 2.1Gbps.

Eero’s latest product is called the Outdoor 7 and is a way to extend your Wi-Fi away from your house. This access point features 2.4GHz and 5GHz for optimum coverage with IP66 rating; capable of achieving up to 2.1Gbps, with a coverage capacity of about 15,000 square feet. When you watch movies for fun out on the lawn or ensure CCTV cameras remain active, the Outdoor 7 delivers uninterrupted connectivity irrespective of the climate.

The Eero Outdoor 7 is designed to be resilient to unfavorable weather conditions. This test has been carried out in different settings, such as deserts, commercial refrigerators, and wind tunnels. It can safely be used outside during winter and summer because its temperature range is -40°F to 130°F.

This device has been designed for installation flexibility as it is part of the Outdoor 7. It has a package of brackets for different surfaces like stucco, vinyl, and wood, or can be installed on a pole. Power is also limited to a single 2.5GbE port with PoE support, guaranteeing a very secure and waterproof connection.

As more outdoor smart devices are being developed the stability of Wi-Fi is becoming paramount. The Outdoor 7 backs up security cameras and smart locks or pool pumps, outdoor lighting, and any other smart devices. Point-to-point networking goes up to half a mile allowing your Wi-Fi to cover outdoor spaces for example shed or garage.

If you want to add a little more and spend for the Eero Outdoor 7 you get Wi-Fi 7, 15,000 square feet of coverage, and compatibility with smart home protocols like Thread, Zigbee, and Matter. Its competition may be cheaper, but Eero has seamlessly placed itself as a long-term reliable solution for the technology, durability, and coverage required to connect to the outdoors.
