Tesla will introduce Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology to the Cybertruck starting this month and, if all goes well, enter the European and Chinese markets within the next year.
Introduction:
Tesla plans to integrate its highly anticipated Full Self-Driving (FSD) system into the Cybertruck this month. The electric vehicle giant also aims to roll out FSD into other regions such as Europe and China once regulators permit it in 2024. This marks a significant move by the company to improve its advanced driver-assist system.
FSD Coming to Cybertruck:
Tesla’s Cybertruck has finally received its highly anticipated Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta. deliveries with no FSD or even basic Autopilot functions such as lane-keeping, owners of Cybertrucks will soon be able to use options like Autopark. It shall also help Cybertruck apply artificial intelligence to allow the car to park in preferred locations that are easily visible to the drivers.
International Expansion of FSD:
FSD becomes Tesla’s largest gamble with the potential of going to Europe and China by early next year. Tesla is still in the process of obtaining regulatory approval in both of these locations. Europe requires automakers to obtain safety preclearance, and FSD is Tesla’s effort to demonstrate the technology is as safe as human-operated cars.

Tesla has already begun the registration process with Chinese authorities, and Elon Musk also plans to conduct internal testing in the country. On the other hand, fully-fledged Chinese automakers have also started developing their autonomous driving system to capture market share from Tesla.
FSD Update: V12 and Beyond:
Tesla recently released FSD v12, a camera-only system with a supervised version that showcases its efficiency. Moving forward, Tesla is set to roll out FSD v13 in the coming October. This new update claims that clinicians would require six times fewer interventions than those required in previous versions.
New Features and Improvements:
Tesla has also initiated a lot of novelties with the last updates of FSD. Some of these are the Actually Smart Summon (ASS) feature which refines the self-driving in parking lots. Further, there is research on eye-tracking using sunglasses, and the enlargement of FSD’s park, unpark, and reverse functions is in the pipeline, it is expected in October.
Conclusion:
Tesla will roll out FSD on the Cybertruck and plans to introduce the feature in Europe and China while actively pursuing leadership in the autonomous driving market. There is still hope for the Full Self-Driving capabilities of an electric car through Tesla because of constant improvements.
