UK’s Trumpet, a creator of personalized, collaborative sales rooms, has secured $6.35M in a seed funding round to enhance its Revenue Intelligence capabilities.

The round was led by AlbionVC. Previous investors Lightbird Ventures, Anamcara Capital, and Triple Point Ventures also contributed to the round. The new funding will help the company grow its team, enable product innovation, and expand to the US.

Because businesses are continuing to tighten their belts and purchase fewer tools, B2B sales are more difficult than ever. Since 95% of the buyer journey occurs without a salesperson, async buying and supporting digitally native millennial customers are necessary.

With technologies to improve sales teams’ efficiency and hunting skills, the sales enablement market has surged in the last few years. Sales teams must change their perspectives to delight buyers and expedite the process if they hope to close deals more quickly and attract new clients.

According to Rory Sadler, co-founder and CEO of Trumpet:

“Since businesses are still having to make cuts due to the economy, sales teams need to rethink their basic approach to selling. By collaborating and centralizing the buyer journey, we assist businesses in boosting the effectiveness and velocity of their sales.”

Sadler continues:

“Revenue executives are benefiting from our exclusive revenue intelligence signals in a way that has never been possible by forecasting and comprehending their transaction pipeline. We are leading the way in the emerging trend of buyer enablement. We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Paul and the Albion team to support us as we grow into the US and incorporate AI into the platform so we can keep serving buyers and sellers.”

Trumpet, founded in 2021 is a startup that creates customized, collaborative sales rooms.

To facilitate communication between buyers and sellers and to simplify the process of keeping track of interactions, each collaborative salesroom, or “Pod,” centrally stores communication logs, decks, case studies, and video demos.

According to the startup, approximately 15% of the new clients were acquired through a trumpet user’s pod sale. Over 10,000 individuals and 250 paying clients, such as Cognism, OpenTable, Sky Media, and Crossbeam, have benefited from the company’s assistance thus far.

According to Trumpet: “Its solution is assisting sales teams in shortening sales cycles by 28% and boosting closed-won opportunities by 13%.”

AlbionVC provides long-term funding and scale-up know-how to creative companies. Further, it collaborates with DeepTech, HealthCare, and early-stage B2B software startups in the UK. Currently managing around $1 billion in venture funds, AlbionVC has invested in more than 50 startups.

Paul Lehair, Partner at AlbionVC, stated:

“Rory, Nick, and Andrew have built one of the most exciting B2B platforms recently. With its sophisticated design and incredibly user-friendly interface, Trumpet already demonstrates its efficacy with multinational teams. In addition to controlling buyer-seller talks, Pods has a ton of potential for dominating additional B2B communication channels, and I’m excited to collaborate with the team as they develop and grow.”
