Microsoft has revealed an unprecedented investment amounting to 14.7 Billion reais ($ 2.7 billion) to Brazil. This huge spend will be on the company’s cloud platform to grow it as well as the expansion of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the country.

Largest Investment to Date:

This investment represents the largest single commitment ever made by Microsoft in the country of Brazil of this nation. Moreover, this is a signal of the company’s commitment to promote the fast development of AI technology which is anticipated to boost Brazil’s economy by 4.2% by the year 2020.

Microsoft Mais Brazil Program:

The Microsoft Mais Brasil scheme, launched in 2020, receives financial support from Microsoft Corporation to fund this initiative. This program seeks to extend and deepen Microsoft’s ongoing commitment to Brazil while solidifying its technological presence throughout Latin America.
