With the closing of its Series A and a €12 million extension round, Munich-based deepc, the AI radiology startup, has reached a total funding of €27.6 million.

Along with participation from new investors KHP Ventures and SwissHealth Ventures as well as returning partner Winning Mindset Ventures, the funding was co-led by Sofinnova Partners and Bertelsmann Investments.

deepc will use the money to develop and market its leading operating system and accelerate the company’s growth and global expansion. deepc expansion in the US, its continued growth in the UK, and its concentration on important European markets are among its top growth targets.

Leading institutions now use deepc’s platform, including the National Health Service (NHS) in England, the Vivantes Hospital Group and LMU University Hospital in Germany, CHU Brugmann (Brugmann University Hospital) in Belgium, and Solothurn Hospital in Switzerland.
