Rider – Powered by TPL, an eCommerce logistics business based in Karachi, has raised $2.3 million in a seed round. The company connects eCommerce retailers with last-mile delivery providers through its technical platform, and it has made considerable inroads into the market with offerings like 24-hour cash repayment, 1-day lead time, cash now delivered later, and a high success rate. The company’s fleet, which spans more than 80 locations across Pakistan, employs over 500 drivers. With a 93 percent success rate, Rider claims to have delivered 1.5 million eCommerce packages.
