Amsterdam’s Lleverage Raises €2M to Revolutionize AI Development for All Businesses

Amsterdam-based, Lleverage, an AI startup, has raised €2 million in pre-seed funding and is emerging from stealth. The startup wants to revolutionize AI development for developers and product teams, helping them create and incorporate AI capabilities into their applications.

Notable advisors in this round include Martijn Niessen – CEO of Infinite Group, Chris Moojen – Exec. at Atlassian, and Bob van Luijt – Founder of Weaviate.

By the end of the year, Lleverage hopes to grow its clientele from five to one hundred paying SaaS and eCommerce enterprises thanks to the strength of its founding team and this pre-seed financing.

Large language models (LLMs) are difficult to construct because of their non-deterministic nature, and implementing AI in production can be intimidating. Lleverage addresses these and other important issues in AI development. Their low-code observability and AI development platform simplifies developing, testing, and implementing AI features. Further, the platform has tools for developing and testing prompts using different models, visualizing or coding AI pipelines and workflows, and tracking and improving performance.

A group of prosperous Dutch businessmen founded Lleverage in 2024 intending to enable software engineers to create AI features even in the absence of deep learning in AI.

Lleverage’s co-founder, Lennard Kooy, stated:

Due to a lack of resources and expertise in AI, we have seen firsthand the challenges developers encounter while creating and implementing valuable AI features in our past endeavors. Every business should have the resources necessary to properly utilize AI, according to Lleverage.

Weaviate’s CEO and founder, Bob van Luijt, continued:

“I genuinely believe in Lleverage’s offer and methodology because I have personally observed the difficulties businesses encounter when integrating AI into their products. Moreover, their platform efficiently closes the knowledge gap in AI, making it simple for companies to develop and implement AI features. I am thrilled to accompany the team on this journey because of their vast experience, execution, and well-defined vision, which have persuaded me that Lleverage is the best answer for the needs of the market.
