The German-based startup mediaire secures €12M to enhance AI radiology efficiency, helping radiologists work faster and more accurately across Europe.
The Berlin-based mediaire has recently secured €12 million with LBO France as the lead in the financing round, the other partners being IBB Venture and Wille Finance. The funding will also help mediaire scale up its AI diagnostic solutions for MR Imaging other than for brain, prostate, and knee which already has impressive results that will increase the efficiency of radiologists around the globe.
Launched in 2018 by Dr. Andreas Lemke and Prof. Henrik Michaely, mediaire advances artificial intelligence in clinical analysis and practice to minimize radiologists’ routine analysis and enhance the overall patient prognosis. The current artificial intelligence instruments such as mdbrain, mdprostate, and md knee in particular enable the diagnosis of neurodegenerative disorders and other medical conditions, this access is enhanced by its collaborations with Bayer/Calantic firm and Sectra.
Mediaire, the revolutionary support for diagnosis, has already reached and improved more than 350 European hospitals, relying on radiology. The €12M investment will help to expand the range of mediaire’s solutions, which in turn will meet the increasing need for fast, effective, and inexpensive diagnostics. This is in line with a shift within the healthcare sector, as claimed by LBO France’s Matthes Seeling who noted that the startup they met increased the efficiency of radiologists and patients.
AI advancements transform diagnostic frameworks, establishing this organization as a leader in AI-enhanced diagnostics. Thanks to the support of HTGF, mediaire’s growth reflects further positive changes, allowing for focus on customers while developing AI radiology efficiency throughout Europe’s healthcare system and becoming one of the best AI diagnostics providers.
