Two days after its creation, Cristiano Ronaldo’s YouTube Channel earned 30 million subscribers and set a new record. Find out what the football star posts and why people rush to subscribe to his channel.
Cristiano Ronaldo, the superstar footballer and global glamour man has done it again by breaking another record. This time it’s not on the football field but on YouTube. Ronaldo’s channel ‘UR’ set a record when it gathered 30 million subscribers within two days, thus becoming the fastest-growing channel.
With the name ‘most followed person on earth’ Ronaldo is present across different social media platforms with followers reaching nearly 917 million. His YouTube channel only adds to the argument with the account gaining one million subscribers in only one and a half hours. This rapid growth has led to discussions among the users of social networks, some of them have heard whether he got the Gold Creator Award, which is awarded to broadcasts reaching a million subscribers, before officially starting his channel.
Ronaldo’s channel is solely confined to football alone. This is evident from the content of his blogs where he writes on family, well-being, and nutrition before, during, and after the program, education, and business. Although Ronaldo gives a little peek into his life in his videos, his goal is to feel closer to his fan base. The channel provides the details of various languages whereby some videos are subtitled in English and also Portuguese so that more people can understand them.
The videos on Ronaldo’s channel are well-captured and well-edited. Most of them are brief and captivating, and they usually don’t exceed the one-minute mark. One of the most liked videos has the football star and his girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez on the handle as they answer tricky questions. Another video shows Ronaldo receiving his Gold Creator Award, which is awarded to the one million subscribers milestone.
But on the same note, fans who would prefer to see rawer and personal style clips will be left unsatisfied. It is further observed that the material of the channel is closer to promotional commercials than personal and informal ones.
As of now, the YouTuber receiving the most subscribers is MrBeast, with around 308 million subscribers. Ronaldo’s channel is still on the rise, although he seems determined to overtake MrBeast. At least for now, Ronaldo is urging people to subscribe with the traditional chant ‘SIUUUbscribe!’
Cristiano Ronaldo’s first-ever attempt at creating content on YouTube is still deemed successful, proving that the soccer superstar still has a fan base that can support new ways of interacting with him. Whether he will go on to become the most subscribed YouTuber remains to be seen, but what is clear, is that his channel continues to gain new subscribers at an ever-increasing pace.
