A Spain-based vacation rental software startup, Lodgify, which empowers property managers to manage and grow their vacation rental businesses, has secured $30 million in a Series B funding round.

With participation from Bonsai Partners, Aldea Ventures, ICF (Institut Català de Finances), and existing investors Intermedia Vermögensverwaltung and Nauta Capital, the investment round was led by Octopus Ventures (which had previously invested in Intigriti, Delio, and Touchlab).

Lodgify, which was established in 2012 in Barcelona by Marco De Gregorio and Dennis Klett, provides a comprehensive solution that enables hosts of vacation rentals to increase bookings and manage all bookings from a single location.

Its software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform has smooth API connectors with all the major vacation rental channels, including as Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com, and a website builder that makes it simple for vacation rental providers to create their websites and accept direct reservations and payments.

Owners and managers of hospitality businesses can create their own mobile-friendly vacation rental websites and accept direct reservations using the vacation rental software solution.

The cash will be used by Lodgify to hasten global expansion, spur product growth, and increase customer support. The goal of Lodgify is to use technology to enable any host or vacation rental company to launch and expand its operations anywhere in the world.

The growing ecosystem of tools and services that both small and large hospitality businesses increasingly rely on to streamline operations and scale up will be aided by this investment.

The R&D team at Lodgify has increased to over 70 personnel in recent years, and the company as a whole now employs approximately 200 people from 43 different countries.

In keeping with the company’s long-term goals for the next years, this hiring boost will also enable Lodgify to quicken the introduction of new features and its product development.

“Our customers will be thrilled to hear this! Since Lodgify is a customer-focused firm, we will use all of the funds to innovate our products and broaden the range of services we offer to assist our clients in achieving their objectives. CEO and co-founder Dennis Klett.

Andrés de la Morena from Bonsai Partners remarked, “Impressive is their capacity to enable both individual hosts and quickly expanding property management firms to produce more reservations and save time through automation.”

Uthish Ranjan from Octopus Ventures joined Lodgify’s BOD as part of the funding round.

“Lodgify has established itself as a market leader in the underserved SME holiday rental sector. The amazing increase they have assisted their customers in achieving, especially throughout the pandemic time, left us in awe of their product leadership and customer focus. With a promising pipeline of new product initiatives, Lodgify’s seasoned leadership team and I are eager to work together to carry out its growth objectives. said Octopus Ventures Principal Uthish Ranjan.
