Learn how Norway-based startup Starflow aims to revolutionize home energy independence with its Energy Hub, securing €1.7 million for advancement.

Energy-free Starflow – Starflow’s Mission for Energy Independence:

Norwegian-based Starflow has closed its pre-seed round at €1.7M with key investors Skyfall Ventures, Sondo Capital as well as Trond Riiber Knudsen supporting the idea. Formed by Jonas Helmikstøl, who co-founded the successful Easee EV charging company, Starflow plans to create the Energy Hub, an innovative home energy management system that will share energy consumption and storage between solar panels, EV chargers, and batteries.

Current users of Starflow’s Energy Hub:

Starflow’s Energy Hub empowers occupants with options where energy use is concerned through the use of solar power, EV charging, and battery storage. A novel, independent from the battery concept provides free decision-making in terms of energy storage mediums and optimizes the energy circulation between all linked networks.

Developing Electricians and Growth of Opportunities:

According to Helmikstøl, it is necessary to recognize the importance of enhancing competence among electricians, which is an important yet neglected group of agents in the renewable energy transformation. Thus, having equipped them with an easy-to-install product, Starflow plans to make electricians great assets in the development of renewable power while giving them tools to grow their companies.

The Energy Hub’s building block system allows other firms to develop additional compatible substructures that improve Starflow’s infrastructure. It not only funds a more general shift towards renewable energy but also prepares for the growth in the call for wiser, grid-friendly electricity systems as more customers and businessmen demand solar and battery storage.

Towards the Future Construction – Developing Sustainable Buildings:

Recently secured funding enabled Starflow to build a dedicated team to further evolve and release the Energy Hub by 2026, with the first goal of serving private households, but extending its services to the business and the industrial world. Further, the global market is looking for sustainable energy solutions, and Starflow Energy Hub adapts to the electrification challenge with user-oriented and innovative solutions.
