Oneleaf, a wellness startup with a self-help app and headquarters in Paris, has raised $5.1 million in funding.

Along with several other notable French investors, including Kima Ventures and Raise Ventures, the investment round was spearheaded by French seed VC Frst, which has previously supported the insurtech startup Orus and the AI-powered sales assistant Attention.

The most frequently contaminated plastic is cigarette butts, which poison our planet’s ecosystem by about 4.5 trillion tons annually. In addition, anxiety and tobacco usage result in tens of millions of fatalities each year, and Oneleaf is attempting to remedy this situation by empowering people to employ self-hypnosis.

Oneleaf will use the most recent round of funding as the foundation for its ambitious objectives for 2023. By increasing its user base by 20% weekly and developing B2B business as early as next year, the company hopes to corner the US market.

Oneleaf’s founder and CEO, Eliott Cohen-Skalli, who used hypnosis himself to give up smoking, claimed that the company is now “ideally positioned for growth as we continue to expand in the U.S.”

“Self-hypnosis has the potential to assist millions of Americans in navigating typical wellness challenges, just like it did me,” Eliott concluded. With 85% of devoted Oneleaf users claiming improvements to their condition in their testimonials, our users are already experiencing results.

According to Bruno Raillard, co-founder and managing partner at Frst, “the versatility of the self-hypnosis market is very exciting, and Oneleaf’s accessible, evidence-based programs are uniquely positioned to lead the way in multi-billion-dollar industries like weight loss, smoking cessation, or improving sleep, providing lasting solutions where most efforts have failed.”

Oneleaf is a company that Cohen-Skalli founded in Paris in 2022 to assist people to deal with some of the most prevalent wellness problems in the globe, such as smoking, weight management, and poor sleep. Oneleaf offers evidence-based, guided self-hypnosis programs.

With this in mind, he founded Oneleaf to empower people through the healing benefits of self-hypnosis. Even though the team now only consists of four people, they work with several female contractors, such as female voice actresses, in addition to the two women on their scientific committee, a female performance marketing contractor, and a woman who creates SEO material.

The audio-based programming, which is now offered in the United States, serves as a manual for assisting people in altering their belief systems to better balance their minds and body. Each program is created with the user’s lifestyle in mind, giving them the means to take charge of their lives and maintain that control from the convenience and comfort of their own homes.

The programs from Oneleaf were created with the assistance of numerous business experts. Each program has a 21-day duration, and research supports it by demonstrating that habits are formed or altered throughout a 21-day cycle in the basal ganglia, the brain region that serves as the foundation of decision-making.

Oneleaf’s durability is due to its capacity to assist clients with multiple issues, rather than just one. One can easily switch to another Oneleaf program to address a different issue in their life after employing self-hypnosis to solve a particular issue.

Oneleaf’s users, 25% of whom are new to hypnosis, come to the company for assistance with a range of problems, including as weight loss, mindfulness, and quitting smoking.

Additionally, the variety of programs it offers enables companies to lower healthcare expenses for workers and creates a ripe B2B market. It aids staff members in giving up harmful behaviors like smoking, one of the world’s leading causes of death.
