Supersimple has announced €2 million in pre-seed fundraising. Tallinn-based startup is an AI-native data analytics platform that allows anyone to explore data and accurately answer complex queries in minutes.

Tera Ventures is leading the round, with participation from Specialist VC, Tiny VC, and a range of angel investors, including the creators of Sixfold and Grünfin, as well as the former CTO of Twilio.

The company plans to use the funds to expand its client base and enhance its explainable AI technology. The Supersimple team consists of product designers, data scientists, and software developers with a track record of creating widely used technology and profitable enterprises.

With the help of cutting-edge explainable AI and a semantic data modeling layer, Supersimple’s AI-native data analytics platform provides users with dependable, consistent data to support their daily tasks. Supersimple specifically created its platform to aid teams in B2B SaaS enterprises with their ad hoc data concerns. It enables non-technical team members to go far beyond pre-built dashboards to obtain data insights and improve decision-making.

Today’s data analytics and business intelligence (BI) tools consist of static dashboards and uninspired chat interfaces akin to ChatGPT. However, Supersimple is placing a large bet on a future in which enterprise software in the AI era doesn’t resemble chatbots and empowers users with a wealth of highly specific data insights instead of a few high-level charts.

According to Supersimple CEO and co-founder Marko Klopets:

“The majority of the value in data is not found by merely glancing at a dashboard. Rather, it originates from focused, in-depth questions that involve testing theories, investigating, and refining. Supersimple was built around this insight to help teams always have the right information to make great decisions.” “Introducing usable and accessible structured data from data warehouses is the first step toward Supersimple becoming the operating system of the fastest-growing businesses.”

Data Empowerment:

Despite the advancements in current data stacks, organizations are still only beginning to fully realize the potential of getting the right information to the right people. Large language models and other recent developments in data warehouses and machine learning have made it feasible to create whole new user interfaces that identify and clarify important data insights and allow users to investigate any further queries. According to Supersimple, to provide the degree of adaptability and trust necessary for organizations and mission-critical operations, purpose-built, comprehensive platforms are necessary. Additionally, the company prioritizes design and user experience in a field that often overlooks these aspects.

With its no-code and plain language interfaces, the Supersimple data analytics platform enables anybody to respond to ad hoc, sophisticated data questions without the need to learn or be familiar with technologies like Python or SQL or think in terms of database principles. Supersimple’s AI eliminates hidden hallucinations by explaining every step it takes when users ask questions in plain English, ensuring that users can always rely on the answers. As a result, the data team is freed up from managing a large number of data requests, enabling them to concentrate on strategic data initiatives that benefit the entire company and strengthen the organization as a whole.

Eamonn Carey, a partner at Tera Ventures said:

“Data stacks are better than ever, and data warehouses have proliferated over the past few years. However, businesses are still having difficulty utilizing their data. It was evident to me that this is how the future would look after hearing Marko describe his vision and seeing the platform in use.”
